VECTOR BREACH: ACCELERANDO
Privacy
How Longneck Studios (Christopher Cooper) handles information for Vector Breach: Accelerando and this website.
Effective September 27, 2026
Data on your device
The game works without a Longneck Studios account. It stores your settings, campaign progress, scores and achievement state locally. Imported MP3 and WAV files are copied into the game's local music library and analyzed on the device. The game does not upload your music or campaign saves to Longneck Studios.
Accelerando has no advertising or third party analytics SDK. We do not use the game to track you across other companies' apps or websites.
The game produces local diagnostic messages that can include file names and paths, gameplay information and performance details. On Mac, it keeps a rotating local log. These logging paths do not automatically send their contents to Longneck Studios. Review logs before choosing to share them with support.
Apple services
The App Store editions use Apple's StoreKit for purchases and restores, and Game Center for achievements. Apple processes transactions; the game checks the resulting entitlement to unlock content. We do not receive your payment card details.
When Game Center is available, the game can sign in automatically and send earned achievements to Apple. The app uses your Game Center player information to show the connection and keep achievement reporting associated with the correct account. These services follow Apple's App Store privacy information and Game Center privacy information. You can manage Game Center in your device's settings.
Apple may provide developers with diagnostics or TestFlight feedback according to your Apple settings and the service you use. This is separate from an analytics service operated by Longneck Studios.
Website visits and downloads
The public website does not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or browser analytics scripts. Page media is hosted on Cloudflare R2 and the website is hosted on Fly.io. These providers process connection information, such as IP addresses and requested URLs, to deliver and secure the site under their own policies: Cloudflare and Fly.io.
Restricted tester access uses a strictly necessary authentication cookie that expires after 12 hours. It contains a signed expiry value, not your password or identity. Login protection holds IP addresses in server memory to limit repeated attempts. Signing out or clearing this site's cookies removes the browser's authentication cookie.
When a protected build is downloaded, our analytics database records only the build type, target platform and time. It does not record your IP address, an IP hash, user agent or referring page. Download events are automatically removed after 90 days. This website data is separate from game activity.
Contacting us
If you contact support@longneckstudios.com or reach us on Discord, we receive the contact information and message or files you choose to share. We use them to answer your request and investigate the problem. Email providers deliver and store email correspondence. Discord handles messages under its own privacy policy; messages in public channels are visible to others.
Share only what is needed for your request. Do not send passwords or payment card details. Support correspondence is kept as needed to respond, resolve the issue and meet any applicable obligations. You can ask us to delete correspondence we control.
Your choices and questions
You control the files you import and whether to use Apple's account services. Local game data is not a cloud save service, and deleting local data does not delete purchases or achievements held by Apple. Device backups may retain copies under your backup settings.
Removing an imported track in the game deletes that imported audio copy; saved records, generated charts and existing log entries may remain. Contact support if you need help removing all local game data. On Mac, deleting the app itself can leave its data behind.
For privacy questions or a request about information you have shared with Longneck Studios, email support@longneckstudios.com. For Apple or Discord account information, use that provider's privacy controls.
We will update this page and its effective date when our practices change.
